We have been busy busy busy this month. It was super fun - but I am super excited to move on to Christmas.
We got to see a lot of our favorite friend Boo- she came over and made some fun pumpkin wind socks with the kids. She quickly informed me that is is not a windsock but a pumpkin octopus, and that they are real because she has seen one. I will tell you you are a liar if you try to tell me there is any other kid on this planet with a better imagination then her :)

Here is my little princess in her Ariel costume. She had a super cute wig but refused to wear it!! She has the funniest little personality. She is such a lover but has started to tell you what she thinks - she told her brother"" sometimes you are really nice but then sometimes I really want to kick you!!" I think that about sums up there relationship!!

Arggg!! Boo was our little pirate!! She had the whole pirate lingo down, she told us all about her buried treasure and pirate ship. She is so funny!!!

Here is our scary swamp monster. I was so glad we could talk him into this costume- he has been begging me for months to be some kind of bloody monster with a saw in his neck. I said no way......he is already trying to break me down for next year.

Princess Camp

Me and my sister took the girls to Princess Camp. They had a blast!!

Elley loved the fairy horse!! She has been begging me to buy her a mini horse since we left ...

They went for a carriage ride. Brantley talked Prince Charmings ear off and when we got done with her ride she told him ," You are not a very good prince you didn't even tell me my dress was pretty!!"

Elleys favorite princess was Ariel. She was a little confused about why she did not look like a mermaid.. she told Ariel your dad is going to be so mad that you have legs!! Lol!!

Boo loves Cinderella.. she followed her around everywhere.

Elley Belly is growing up TOOOO fast.... she wanted to go get her hair done and have "BIG GIRL" feather put in. She was so silly - she refused to talk to the hair dresser but she sat so still. She looks so cute with her little pink feathers...

This was a weird day ... I was not expecting her to be so excited. I was so glad she wanted to go but a little sad it was so easy for her to leave me... I know so selfish right!!

Our preschool countdown...

Elley has the same pre school teacher that Parker had. When we went to back to school night she showed us her wall of fame - there was 12 students pictures and Parker was one of them. I guess he made an impression on her :) I think he is part of the reason she did so well - he told her all about the fun stuff she would do in preschool. He told her " Mrs. Leeesa is so nice she will give you lots of hugs and kisses and give you bandaids when you get hurt." Thanks Park!! She was such a big girl - she hung up her backpack, found her name badge and went to play with her new friends. She has got this pre school thing down!! Love you Elley Belly!!

Elley has been trying to convince Chance and I that she is ready to drive the four wheeler all by herself. So this is her first time driving it - she was so brave. She cruised around for hours and cried when it was time to stop. She is such a tom boy - she has begged to "pracise" every day and is getting pretty good at that thing.

We tried to talk Brantley into trying but there was no way that was happening. For now she is content letting Uncle Chance take her for rides...

I totally underestimated how hard it would be to send the little man off to 1st grade. The night before as I was laying out his clothes I thought about the 7 years I have had with him and I wished I would have spent more time loving and hugging him. I seriously questioned everything. It was so hard.. am I crazy? Just say no so I feel better :)
I did not sleep that night .. just so worried that I was losing him.. I know he is 7!! I am totally out of control. When I dropped him off I thought ok so I just leave now and you take care of my son for 7 hours.. I am so not ok with this!! I tried really hard to stay calm and pretend like I was not battling with myself, I must have done a really bad job because he said '"Mom, am I ready for this? I don't think I am ready for this yet!!" I felt horrible!! I said "You are totally ready .. you are going to learn so many cool new things and make so many friends.. they are so lucky to have you in there class. I am just sad because I will miss you. but I guess now we will just have to cram more fun things into the time we have together after school!"
I love him beyond words..it's so hard to let him go but pretty cool to watch who he is becoming.

Here he is.. he really wanted to wear these sunglasses on his first day.. me and Chance tried to explain to him that they are SAFETY glasses not SUN glasses but he was not having any of that..

Yep.. it's happened. My son is 7!!
Here are some funny thing about Mr. Parker:
He loves girls.. he has started telling me when he thinks a girl is sexy... I am very disturbed by this.
He loves to swim.. and he is so good at it. He freaks his Aunt Loren out when he dives under and hold his breath.
He loves Wrestle mania.. he tries to wrestle anyone who will go for it
He is becoming such a good reader and is super good at math
He is obsessed with Michael Jackson music.. his favorite song is "Beat it"
He is a very passionate kid.. he cries when he hears about animals being hurt or people who don't have homes- he has passed this trait on to his sister.. when those sad commercials come on about homeless animals they both ball there eyes out.
He is a great big brother.. bossy but great!! He loves to be the one to teach Elley how to do something new.. but if she doesn't do it the way he told her then we have a BIG fight on our hands.
He is very observant.. he will be the first person to notice if you do your hair different or change the rug in your house
He is such a lover.. he loves his family so much and makes sure that you know it everyday!!!
He may be 7 but he will always be my little man..

These 2 are T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!!! They love each other so much -but they are so super competitive... its so fun to watch them grow into little ladies...
I was talking on the phone with Brantley the other night and she said this ," Linny - I need to tell you something really serious.. you need to get your stuff and come here now!!" When I told her I couldn't do that she said " Oh man I can't do this anymore !!" lol- I swear there is a little 16 year old trapped inside that body of hers!!

My little stud!! He loves to teach the girls how to do thins.. but he is a boy so chasing them is usually how it ends up!! He has a very big crush on this girl in his class.. he said its hard to decide who to play with at recess - his friends or this girl.. he told me it would be easier if girls "didn't talk so much and just played more!!"

Sassy Ms. Elley Belly!! She is too funny- but man is she feisty!! When she wants something she says"_ Mom its me your elley belly - I am your favorite girl.. remember ?! "

Make this little girl stop growing up!! SHE IS 3!! What? When did this happen? When did she gets so big? I am struggling a little with this idea.. lol if you can't tell!!
I am so excited that I get to watch this sassy little lady grow up... but a little sad too!! Here are a few fun things about our sweet Elley Belly:
- she LOVES to dance.. and she is pretty good at it too
- she LOVES Justin Beiber( juttin beaver as she calls him) her favorite song is " Baby" and she knows all the words
-She thinks her brother is the coolest thing on this planet
- her best friend is her Boo(Brantley)- they are so in love with each other
- she is OBSESSED with animals... she cries when we talk about the animals who don't have homes
- she is a Big Cat expert.. seriously she can tell you anything you ever wanted to know about a lion,tiger,leopard or cheetah
- so of course her favorite tv channel to watch is : Nat Geo Wild
- she loves spicy food
- she sucks her tongue when she gets tired- It's cute but will probably get her sporting a cool retainer in a few years
-she can not go anywhere with out her blankie and bear.. I have to wash these things like every other day.. she watches them spin around in the washer the entire time- I am lucky if they get a turn in the dryer
-she is so sweet- she seriously has the softest heart, she cries if she thinks you are mad at her
- she loves her daddy and tells him he is the best daddy ever almost every day
-she still sleeps in our bed.. but I honestly don't think we would have it any other way!!
-she has a very strong sense of family- every toy she has must have a mommy, daddy and baby .. s
- she is better at running her Dad's IPad then I am.. sad really lol
- she can count to 12.. and knows almost all her colors
and SHE MAKES ME SMILE EVERYDAY!! She is my best friend.. and I love her more then words.. she is the best and we are so lucky we get to spend our lives with her!!

Yep.. I sure do :) I love my cute husband so much!! We went on a fun trip to Arizona to go watch the Super cross and we had a blast!! He is such a good dad- Parker and Elley think he is pretty much the coolest thing ever! Yep.. we are pretty lucky!

I would say this is the best Christmas we have had yet!! It was so fun!! We started so many new traditions as a family this year.. and I can't wait to try them out again next year!! I am so glad I got everything done for Christmas in early December .. it was so nice to spend so much time with my family - and not wrapping presents and shopping. If I said the kids got spoiled .. it would be the biggest understatement ever.. it will seriously take me weeks to find places for all there new stuff!! I am feeling pretty lucky to have such an awesome family!! I am very grateful for my mom .. we had such a great Christmas Eve with her.. we watched Christmas movies, drank some fun drinks, and had so much fun. And I could not ask for a better mother in law.. she always makes Christmas morning so special.. she is so giving and I am always blown away with all she does for us.

Elley's fav toy this year... her cool new Car- She freaked out the minute she saw this thing!!! She was so much fun this year..

Parkers fav toy this year.. his remote control Buzz!! He has got to be the best person to give gifts too.. he freaks out over everything- even underwear lol!! He is such a stud!!

We had a blast this year!!! We had a little halloween party for the kids- we ate pizza mummies, carmel apples and drank swap juice. Spooky huh? ;)
Then we took the kids trick or treating!!

So I was driving home from work today when it hit me that I would be dropping my son off for his first day at school tomorrow. I sobbed pretty hard for 30 minutes thinking about how big he has gotten. I was remembering the day he was born and how I felt when I first laid my eyes on him. There are not words to describe that moment. I was so scared when i found out that I was pregnant with him - I was 21 but so not ready to raise another human being .. I couldn't even take care of myself. But he honestly saved my life.. it scares me to think of where I may have been had someone not trusted me to take care of him. I had no idea what I was doing..and there are a lot of things I wish I would have done differently . I am a much better mother to Elley now then I was to Parker at her age. Thanks for being patient with me while I figured it out Park you are my best friend and I love you so much!!!

I think NOT!!!! They are by far the coolest little people I know... but I could be a little biased!!! I love them so much .. and silly little moments like these make me SUPER glad to be there mom!!!
We have had so much going on the last couple of months... it has been nice to enjoy some down time with the kids and go to the Aquarium, The Zoo and tomorrow we are all so excited for the Supercross!!!

Oh what do we say about our sweet little Boo!! She is seriously the funnest kid ever. Don't get me wrong I love my kids and think they are pretty dang fun - but this little munchkin beats them all. She is so sweet and has the cutest personality. I told her "Brantley your party is so fun" and she said" Linny - party is mine not yours and Elley can't play it's mine" They are very competitive and every time we come to visit Brantley walks Elley through the house and says" No Elley you can't touch that , That's Boo's not Elley's" She seriously spends the first ten minutes we are there reminding us that we better not touch her stuff. Lol!! But she gives the best hugs and kisses. I never knew it would be so awesome to be an Aunt- but when she calls me and says "Hi, Aunt Linny!" it is a whole other level of love I didn't know I had!! We are so lucky to have her - even if she is a little Diva!
I am sad that most of these are blurry - of course I forgot my camera so I used my I phone but didn't clean off the lense obviously.

She is always making us laugh - she had to put on everything she got as she opened the presents. She is quite the show off and will do just about anything to be the center of attention.
And just in case you can't tell by her crazy outfit she is obsessed with Abby Cadabby!

The pink chair is the gift I made her - it has turned out to be her new favorite thing. She would not get off of it until we had to leave. I need to make a few more and a table to go with it so they have a place to color and have tea parties. But the chairs are so cool because they have storage underneath for all of there crayons and coloring books.

Here is another present from her mom - Mr.Fishy!! This fish has had several near death experiences- poor thing. The girls like to pull the tank right up to the edge so they can both look inside and smoosh there faces up against the glass. This thing does not stand a chance!!

Thanks Boo Boo for choosing us to be your family - we love you so much and we are super excited for our sleep over this weekend!!

She is growing up so fast. Yesterday I was laying in bed with her watching The Little Mermaid and I started singing Kiss the Girl - who doesn't love that song- and she covered my mouth and said "shut up mom" and then plugged her ears!! She is a stinker for sure!!!
She can count to 10 all by herself!! She is obsessed with Elmo and Toy Story. She carries her buzz and woody everywhere with her. She loves spicy food- so her fathers daughter!! She loves her brother and copies every word he says - he is not so happy about that idea but he loves to teach her new things. She is the biggest tomboy - she loves riding on the "cycle and 4 teely" (motorcycle and 4-wheeler)- she will be so fun to take camping this summer. She is the sweetest little princess and follows her mom around everywhere.She amazes me everyday - and makes me so proud to be her mommy!! We love you so so much Elley Belly!!!

I can't believe my little sister is 21!! Everyone is getting do old - I wish time would just slow down!! That's not so much to ask is it?
We had a super fun night - me and my mom made a taco/nacho bar and made margaritas!! It was nice to just hang out with my brothers and sisters with out a million crazy things going on!!

Chance and Kenna made balloon animals- well more like tried!! This is the special hat they came up with after everything else fell apart:) Gotta give them credit for trying - right!!

What can you say about this crazy girl - she loves to dress up!! This is the tutu I made her - Elley refuses to wear hers, so I am glad to see this one gets some good use!! She is such a stinker - I love her so much!

Look at these silly kids... they do everything together. They put there sunglasses on and Parker taught Elley to say - "Hey dude"!! Then he told me to come find him when it got warm outside so he could go play in the water - I had to break the bad news that it would be awhile before that would happen. They keep me laughing!! Am I lucky or what?!!!!

I can't believe its done!! I am so excited about this... I made it for my Aunt and I hope she likes it!! It did not take Chance and I very long to build it - only about 2 hours of work. The plans for this table were so easy to follow and I can't wait to get started on the mile long list I have for other furniture projects!!

Once it was finished I caulked all the edges with smooth paintable caulk and then painted it. I distressed the edges and then rubbed stain over the sanded areas. It still needs a couple of coats of poly so it won't scratch and it won't look dull. But I couldn't wait to post the pictures!! What do you think Aunt Julie?

Happy Birthday Old Man!!!

Can you believe my husband is turning 27 - holy smokes we are getting old!!
We planned a really fun trip to Arizona because Chance really wanted to go see the super cross race this weekend. It was so fun to get away and it was so weird to sleep in and do what we wanted!! Made me miss my kids like crazy... but its always nice to spend some time alone with my amazing husband:) He is the best and I can't say enough how lucky we all are to have him - Love you babe .. Happy Birthday!!!

This is my man #22 Chad Reed!! He let me down and was out before the race really even started but he will win it all back - I just know it!!- I am surprised how much I have really gotten into Super Cross it is so not my thing but I really enjoy it now! It doesn't hurt that most of the racers are total babes either:)

Here is one of our favorites - Ryan Dungee!! I had to force Chance to go get an autograph - he hates to bug the racers! He ended up winning that night, and he is the nicest guy.

Well if your husband loves food like mine - you promise him a trip to Inn and out burger and he starts the car and loads the kids in for you :) To say Chance is obsessed with inn and out is an understatement if I ever heard one - him and his friends are beyond obsessed with this place. I personally don't get it - but hey who am I to judge!!

Sam made us the cutest New Years Eve package when she stopped by - it was the cutest idea ever and I am so jealous I didn't think of it first!! It had these cute hats and a bunch of candy and some little kid friendly fireworks - totally fun!!

How cute are these matching pj's - parker and Kenna have a pair that my mom made!! Yes my mom made lol- she is not much for sewing the glue gun is her best friend so this is very impressive!! Elley loves hers and freaks out when I have to wash them.

My silly princess- if you look back on every single one of her pictures this is the face she always pulls. Her eyes disappear and you can hear her teeth grinding because she is smiling so hard!! I love that she is so silly and unique - she has her own little personality and I hope it stays that way forever!!

I love Valentines Day!! Well I love hearts - I have been obsessed with hearts since I was little - I love love love hearts!!! So Valentines Day just gives me an excuse to put them everywhere!!!
I made a few Valentines things - I am going to make a few more to give to my mom and mother in law and a few of our neighbors.
I saw something like this at one of my favorite stores - From our Home to Yours. It was so cute , mine didn't turn out quite like there's but I am happy with it - for now:) I am giving my snow men away - I keep looking at them and deciding I don't like them as much as I should. But my awesome husband came home with a scroll saw - he got some money to spend for Christmas and how sweet that he brought this home for me. I never thought I would be so excited about a power tool but I love this thing. I can't wait to learn how to use it!!

I made this earlier this year and then the weather got yucky so I sorta forgot I even had it - it was so easy .. and it's really fun to make a new block for the middle every month. I went to quilted bear and saw some just like this one and they were selling the square wreath for 20.00 - I made mine for less then 5 dollars- all you need is the wood: I think it was a 1X4 but you could really use any size, and some craft wire. And just paint and stain.

My goals for the new Year

It is probably silly that I am posting this but I am hoping if I write it down somewhere that I see often then I might actually follow through with some of these things. Feel free to help me and remind me if I stray :)

Ok I will begin with learning how to resolve conflict better instead of assuming the worst and throwing a fit, 9 times out of ten it turns out to be something small and not worth the time I take to worry about it. So bad at this one !!

I want to help make my home more peaceful... I am a very impatient person by default and I hate that the most about myself. So I will try to be more patient and help my children be more patient as well.

I want to take a family trip somewhere (other then Lake Powell) and teach our children something new about the world. It doesn't have to be somewhere fancy, just spend time focusing on what is important.

I need to learn how to be a better cook... I have no want for this- NONE!! I am envious of people who enjoy doing this because I know how important it is. I am hoping that maybe if I learned more about easy meals and healthy eating then I could learn to like it :)

I want to work more on saving money ... I want to build a house so bad, seriously it is all I think about . We are in the bad habit of just buying things we don't really need and not looking for the best deals on the things we buy.. so I am going to work really hard on this one !!! And SAVE,SAVE,SAVE!!!

and I want to TRY and stick to a work out routine... not doing so great at this one right now.

We had a really good year and I am hoping to make 2010 even better!!

I wish I would have done a better job and took more pictures this year. Every time I went to grab my camera I could not find it?! So here are a few of the good ones I got!!
This year was so much fun - Elley was old enough to open all her own presents. She was a blast!! And Parker is so funny every present he gets makes him so excited - he screams and jumps up and down - even if he is just opening batteries for his new toys lol he makes you feel good about everything you give him :) We did several activities before Christmas that involved giving to others so I felt like they definetly deserved every present they got. Elley got her best friend Elmo - this kid is obsessed. And Parker got a million Transformers - he is in heaven!!

This kid always keeps me laughing!! He is a 5 year old inside a 15 year olds body -I can only imagine what I am in for when he becomes a teenager!! But I can wait - I love him so much and it breaks my heart that he is getting to big and too cool to slow dance with his Grandma:)

This little thing is the definition of stubborn - she refused to fall asleep in her bed because she didn't want to - she kept saying "no elley wont mom " so in protest she fell asleep in the chair :)

For my brothers birthday we went to Chilli's - our families favorite!!

The Birthday Boy!! This is so cheesy - but I still remember when he was little and he would carry my moms purse around everywhere - he would dump everything out and put all his cars in it!! And I remember him stealing my eggs out of my basket on Easter and when I caught him he would smile and say Sorry Windsee, but when I set them down he was at it again! I remember sneaking into his room at night and sleeping on his floor when I was scared because I knew he would protect me!! And staying up until 3 in the morning listening to Enter Sandman by Metallica over and over and pretending to like the song because I loved spending time with him! And I love him very much!!!

Easy Christmas Craft

What you need :
2X3 cut to desired length - 2.00 at home depot or lowes
1X4 cut three at varying lengths - 5.00 at lowes or home depot
A wooden base - I used old wood I had in the garage(free :))
$1 store decorations- bulbs, garland, lights,bells ..everything looks cute on this thing!!

I painted the 2X3 and base black and sanded, then painted the 1X4 pieces white and hand painted the letters- you can use vinyl too , we made some more tonight and they were so much easier with vinyl!!
Stained everything .. and had the husband nail them all in place!! The star came from the wood connection in Sandy but the $1 store also has some super cute stars we used one tonight and it looked really cute!! Then just attach all your fun Christmas stuff -you really can't mess it up!!! It was so easy and so fun- and we all had a blast making them!!

We have been dying to see new baby Mayci!! Elley has been sick and we wanted to make sure whatever yuckiness she had was all gone before we malled there baby!! She is so sweet- and she fits in perfectly with there little family. I think she looks just like her big brother!

Look at these goobers - they are so silly together!! They copy each other and eventually ended up in just there diapers - Lincoln loves her so much he even wears her pants lol!! He is such a good big brother - Mayci is lucky to have him :) And could he be any more of a stud- look at that hair!!

I hope they will always be good friends!!

Are we lucky or what? I can't believe how cute these two are!!

To say that my Dad and Lisa are very much into Halloween would be an understatement!! My Dad sets up his haunted hay bail ride every year and takes the kids around to go trick or treating!! The babies loved going for rides!!

I made my Mom dress up with me- I thought it might help get her mind of stuff and help put her in a halloween mood!! We had such a fun day together!!

Kenna is so cute... she is so fun to spend time with. She helps so much with the girls... don't know what we would do without her!!

So my mom is truly amazing!! When I say truly I mean TRULY!!!! I am so proud of her - this run was so much more then just that - it was proof that she can do anything!!
Parker and Mckenna were little cheer leaders and Parker could not believe how strong his Grandma was!

It was one of the coolest things to watch her cross that finish line!!

Thanks mom for making this run about him!! It meant so much to Chance's family - they have been through so much lately and it was such a huge gift for her to love him so much to think about him while she ran !! Always thinking about everyone else!!

We have spent most of our time this summer with Aunt Chelsey and Uncle Ryan!! They are so awesome- they love to play with the kids. Parker loves Ryan and wants to do everything he does. Here is the birthday boy!!! I pretty much cried all day thinking about how fast these 5 years have gone by!! I love this little man so much, he will always be my baby no matter how big he gets!! He got so annoyed with me because I kept making him hug me and let me hold him :)

We are always looking for fun and cheap ways to entertain our children!! And me and Parker needed a reality check -we sat inside and watched Micheal Jackson videos all day , I am afraid to say I think I have made my son as obsessed with him as I am- that is all he will talk about now!! So we got this little fire pit for super cheap and roasted marshmallows. The kids thought it was the coolest thing ever!! I am so glad they are so easily entertained still. I am trying to talk Chance into setting up the tent and sleeping outside one night this weekend, we are sad little campers, aren't we ?!

My Stepdad/Dad :) won best of state in the Arts and Entertainment category for the State of Utah. What a cool honor for him - he does magic shows around hundreds of schools in the state. He has suffered from dislexia his whole life so his magic also has a message - that you can make your dreams come true no matter what obstacles you may face. He really is amazing and what he does and it is pretty awesome to watch this start from a little dream and now see him recognized by hundreds of people for just being him :) It was a very fancy event - so fun to dress up in an old prom dress again!! And any time I can get my Chance in a suit makes me happy - he looked so handsome!!Chance made fun of me because as soon as we sat down I dove into the food !! I am glad we got to be there.

I don't want anymore birthdays lol!! I am already sad that 30 will come in 4 years!! But I am glad that my family still makes a big deal about it and makes me feel special. Parker loves when it is someones birthday - he told me happy birthday a million times, and this morning when we woke up he said ,"wait mom is is still your birthday today," when i told him no he said "Dangit, I have to wait a whole nother year." His birthday is coming up next month - his are always a blast!! But let's not talk about how sad I am that he is turning 5! I can't stand how fast the time flies and I just want to remember every cute moment with them!!

My Dad and I celebrated my birthday and fathers day together last weekend - they are the busiest people I know and our family is growing quickly so we have to fit time in together when we can. This is my sister Loren and my sister Amanda- are they not so adorable?!

My girl!! I love this little stinker so much!! She is three weeks younger then Elley but she talks like a three year old :) she is amazing!!!

Look at this handsome guy!! I love my brother so much - he is a little crazy (hence the new tattoo he is sporting in this pic) but he has such a good heart!! I think this is what Parker will look like when he gets bigger - he acts just like him already!! When I call my mom and tell her Parkers newest adventure she laughs and tells me that was just like your brother at that age!!

She has the funnest personality - she loves to make people laugh!! She always makes my day:)

I decide what my blog was missing today - some more of Sam!!! She is so tough and has been through a lot lately - and I want her to know how much she means to all of us! She has been my best friend since 8th grade when I moved to Tremonton -that's almost 12 years- holy crap that is crazy to think about how fast time flys- we have so many memories!!!! We have seen each other pretty much go through everything- our first kisses, our first heartbreaks( there was a lot of those ) and I wish that we got to see each other more but she is super busy with her career and me with the fam- so it's hard to find time!! But we have made a promise to atleast get together once a month for dinner and girls night:) You know I will hold you to it girl!!
Parker loves her so much - and talks about her all the time!! When Elley takes her naps me and Parker have craft time and he makes everything for Sam or my sister Loren- he already knows how to juggle two women - uh oh!! And she wrote her name on this piece of paper in his room - and it is now taped to his wall and if I get near it he reminds me that it is from Sam and its special so don't touch it! :) HE will always have a special relationship with Sam because for most of his life we all lived together and she helped me raise him!! Those are some of my most favorite times, watching House and O.C reruns and dancing with Parker all over the house. She will make an amazing mother someday!! We love you tons!!!

So for Our first Anniversary Chance and I went to the supercross in Salt Lake. On our honeymoon we were in Vegas and got tickets to the Supercross finals so I think this will be a tradition for us- I don't think he will mind :) But I think that is the least that I can do for him after all he does for us!! He is honestly the BEST husband in the world - and if I ever forget that my mom and sisters are reminding me how lucky I am to have him. He puts up with me when I am having one of my days where I am mad at everyone and he knows just what to say when I am hard on myself. He won't let us go to bed angry with each other and he won;t let me walk away from an argument until everything is ok - he honestly just gets me and knows exactly how to handle things to make me feel safe. He is such a great dad!! And not just with our sweet girl but he loves Parker honestly as if he were his own. Sometimes I catch myself watching and listening to him when he is with Parker when he doesn't know that I am. I am very protective of Parker - I feel like he has had a very different life then little Elley will ever know - which is a great thing but I feel the need to protect him all the time. And Chance was the only guy even while we were dating that felt the same way about him that I do. The bond that he has with him is so coolest thing I have ever seen - and I am so grateful that he came into our lives when he did because I don't think me or Parker could have done it alone. It is making me cry to think about - lol but I truly did not know life until I met him!! Corny , right?! I love him so much and all that he does for us!! I love the little things he does for me like hugging and kissing me at 4:30 when he is leaving for wok even though I am so out of it I just grunt at him , and on his days off he moves the baby monitor over to his side of the bed and wakes up with elley and does everything he can to keep the kids quite so that I can get an extra hour of sleep, and the fact that he listens to Parker talk about his real dad and never says a bad word about him even though I know sometimes it has to break his heart!! Ya I know I am pretty lucky huh!!

I have officially gone crazy !! So what sold these for me is that they are mini chickens - people actually have them as domesticated pets lol can you believe that? And they are show chickens so Chance thinks it will be fun for Parker to show them in the fair. I only wanted one but when we went to get them they told us that they are very lonely animals so we have to take atleast 2 but they had 3 left so that last little chicken couldn't stay alone in the cage so they all came home with us!! YEAH lol!!
I always joke about our house being as crazy as a farm with our dog and goat and cows - so now that we have added chickens I think it is official!!

This is what made it all worth it - this little mans face when we brought them home. He said mom I might just cry right now I am so happy!! He already named them - Jack Black, Cream Puff and Jackie Sue lol!! What a goober :)

And i had to throw one of our princess in to!! it has been so nice outside we just hang out in the yard all day!! How cool is she in her sunglasses - I was pretty impressed that she actually kept them on !!

Look at how handsome he is in his uniform!! His game so fun to watch - I played all through high school so I love watching soccer and it was really cool to see him do something that means a lot to me :) He was really good at chasing the other players around but has not really grasped the idea that he is trying to get the ball. His team is really good - they won 9 to 0. Parker yells during the game," look coach we are taking the team in green down to china town huh?" lol thanks grandma for teaching him that one.

I can't believe I am posting about Elley's first birthday -where did the time go? We had a party for her at my mother in laws house - thanks Laura for letting us invade your space :) Chance made a really cute slide show of Elley's first year - because what is a party with out some tears right? We had a lot of Elley's favorite people there and I am so glad that they came to celebrate with us. Thank you to everyone who traveled from Logan to come I know it was a yucky drive.
This is the birthday girl!! She was so cute when she opened her presents she smiled every time we got to a new one. She got so much stuff - some really cute outfits and lots of new toys!!

Here is Elley with her Aunt Loren !! I think they will be very close when she gets older - as soon as loren walks in the door she runs for Elley and she is one of the few people that Elley will actually go to without a fight!! She also has a very special relationship with Parker and he calls her his girlfriend. He said to her the other day when I get home from being a super hero will you be there to make me dinner ? lol silly boy

Here is my mom with the girls!! We all can't wait to see what happens when they grow up - we wonder if they will be best friends or get on each others nerves? They love to play together and can't keep there hands of each other now so hopefully that is a good sign!!

SO.... now that I have shared all the fun party pictures , this is where the night went bad!! She was good during the whole event but she seemed off - my mom thought she might be getting a head cold because her eyes and nose were watering. But as the night progressed she acted really irritable and kept coughing - which is never a good sign. She just got over having a mild case of strep throat and ear infections -where we found out the hard way that she is allergic to amoxicillin. So I was really hoping she was not sick again , especially so close to her birthday!! Well she seemed ok when we put her to bed but I woke up to her weezing on the monitor and I knew something was really wrong. She was having a really hard time breathing and her lips were purple- then she started throwing up . So we rushed her to the E.R
They gave her a breathing treatment and took x- rays. Then they gave her a nasty steroid shot . As you can see by this picture of our happy baby with puffy eyes the medicine in the nebulizer worked wonders :)They think she has a form of the croup - which is good new compared to all the other really bad things that kids can get sick with these days.

My step dad has been telling Chance he will take him sky diving forever so to prepare for that he took him to try the I FLY simulator for his birthday. It is a really cool experience and it's not as pricy as you would think - I want to go back and try it next time!! As we were watching the people before them take there turn Parker decided he wanted to go to :) Here is Chance and Parker all suited up - my son is very weird about clothes, he hates anything that is tight and it takes me 30 minutes to convince him to put socks and shoes on so to get this suit on him with out a fight was an experience in itself! We told him it was his Spiderman suit - he loved it and never said a word!!

How cool is this!! His claw hands are the best part- I am not sure why he thought that was a good idea but he had that move down!!

I had to show you this one because you can see the slobber all over his chin - they told him to keep his mouth closed when he got in there - but he must have forgotten that part. His goggles and the instructors goggles were covered with spit! Poor guy!!

This is the last shot we got before the big melt down! He kept telling the instructor that he did not want to go high and that he would freak out if he took him up higher then this( he kept showing him with his hands) The instructor really wanted to try it out and just see if Parker was serious I guess - but Parker was not messing around. He started throwing his arms around and when they were all done he told the guy - see i told you i would freak out !! LOL

So today when I was making breakfast for my kids Parker had something very important to say, or so he said! This is what he said;" Mom I don't know any nice way to say this but... you look like mess, but don't worry i can close my eyes and it's ok." Can you believe he said that? I couldn't !! At first I laughed and then I got sad thinking about how big he is now. i think he is officially to that age where I have to be careful not to say things about other people because he will announce to them how I feel LOL!! I get so focused on how little Elley is that I forget that my baby boy was once that small too!! So here are so pictures so we can all remember!!

When he was little he loved to dress up in my stuff- this is a scarf I used to own(it is hideous huh) he also liked to wear my high heeled shoes he probably could walk better in them then most grown women , not that I am proud of that fact about my son lol!! There was no real male figure in his life at this time, so he didn't know any better, and I thought it was cute so I never stopped him either!!

These eyes get me everytime!! He now knows how to use them to get everything he wants!!!

This is some left over ice cream from his first birthday - I can't believe we will be planning his 5th birthday this year- what happens to the time?

Elleys First Steps!!!

Can you believe it ?!!? She has grown up so fast - it feels like just yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital and trying to teach chance how to change diapers :) He is a pro now!!
She has the funniest personality - she is very fiesty - i think she learned that from her big brother. She tries to do everything he does which is why I think she started walking so fast, she can't stand that he can move around faster then she can. They are very different though in some ways - like he was ok with anyone holding him and would laugh and love on anyone - he was very independent , but she is very territorial of me and Chance- she will not let anyone else hold her if I am in the room and she follows me around wherever I go. I didn't get to spend as much time with him as I have with Elley because I was working so much so I still feel like I am doing some of this for the first time - I am so greatful that I get to stay home with them both now and I can be a part of all the cool things they do!!

Elley met Santa!!

So it looks like she is ok with the Santa idea in this picture. But she had not seen him yet , this is what happened when she turned around.........

She saw his face and she froze for a second. Then Santa said Hi Baby and she lost it! She was screaming and hiding her face. She doesn't know how cool Santa is yet :)

But Parker does!! This year is so fun because he is old enough to really understand and he wants to decorate everything. He really like to give gifts to other people too - I am so proud of him :)

Our Trip to Arizona

This is the jet that we got to ride on!! Pretty sweet :) I was a little worried about the plane ride with Parker until I saw what we were riding on. It was like a house on wheels. It was a really fun ride and they had lots of junk food so Parker thought it was really cool!!

This is Parker's girlfriend Paris!! He is so in love with her - he told her someday when I get bigger I will buy you a ring and you will be my wife!! She lives in Arizona right next to Jerry and Vicki so Parker got to play with her a lot while we were there. I have not had the heart to break it to him that she is his cousin and off limits lol!!

He is hooked up - two girls pushing him around - what a life !!

What a Day for Buddy!!

Buddy,Laura,Chance and Chelsey actually got to ride in the official pace car!! Now- smiles from this man are sometimes far an few between so this picture is pretty priceless. When we got to the races and Chance saw that we were just walking right into the pit lane he said me and my dad came here for so many years and faught to walk in those gates and never got in. So this day must have meant so much to him and his dad !!

The Nascar Races

This is were we sat to watch the races- In the pits!! It was unbelievable - they are not supposed to have anyone under the age of 18 in there but they passed Parker through as Richard Petty's grandson! This was by far the coolest thing me and Parker have ever done. We stood right by the pit crews and watched the cars come in for pit-stops. I am so glad that we had this experience - it is something that Parker will always remember!! Getting ready for the races - they let us walk around the pits before anyone else got there so we could see how they set everything up !!
Yes this is Richard Petty - Parker knows him as Mr. The King off the movie cars!! He is the coolest guy - and he makes the rest of us look like midgets!!
Here he is with Buddy - he was one of buddy's favorite racers !!
Chance and Ryan got to go to the garage where they get the cars ready for the races! It was a pretty big deal I guess because they were both like little kids when they came back - they were so excited that they got to go:)

This is Christina - man is she a hottie!! lol- This is my brother - he let us dress him up as a women!! He got into it to - he even shaved his legs !!
This is my dad - he was an axe murderer!! He is so cool for dressing up and he made a hay ride with his four wheeler and a trailer. He took all the kids in the neighborhood for rides - they all know he will come up with something fun on halloween. He loves it too - we are so lucky he is such a fun grandpa!!She was so funny with this wig on - she was crying until she saw the camera and then she posed like this!! I wish she had blonde hair like here mommy - then maybe she would look like she belonged to me and not just her daddy:)
This is Kenzy - my cousin Jackie's little girl!! She is so cute and Elley loved her - they will love to play together when she gets bigger!! They are both spoiled little stinkers!!
They hated there costumes - but how cute are they!! They have no choice but to be best friends!!

How cool is this picture - I saw Joker walking around and I had to have a picture of him with Batman(Chance)!! This made Parkers night:)Getting ready to go inside - he is getting so bad at pictures - I can't get him to look at the camera long enough!
There was the scariest lady on the floor next to us - it was a doll that they dressed up like the girl off of the ring - he was locked in on her - a little to scary for him.
Elley Belly was a Pumpkin Princess - she kept licking the black paint off of her face
The T-Rex was pretty hungry !!

Is she silly or what? She can't stand to sit still so she just shoves her toys in her mouth and holds them there so her hands are free! What can you really say about this sweet little face!

This one is funny- she was eating puffs when I left the room but Parker snuck her a sucker and this is what I came back to find instead!!
She is pulling herself up on everything - it freaks me out it won't be long before she figures out how to walk then we are in big trouble!

Parkers Very First School Field Trip!!

I was so proud of him - they played this video about Fire Safety - it was like 30 minutes long and he sat still and listened to the whole thing!! At the end he told the fire men not to worry about his house because we don't get fires there lol it was really cute !God bless his teacher!! She wanted a picture with all 37 of her pre- schoolers in it- the woman has patience .
Playin on the fire truck - I am glad they let them climb all over it !!
